Assumption of Risks: I understand that participating in Mat Pilates, Yoga, Soundbaths and any other fitness class offered by Yasuragi™ Pilates & Wellbeing, including private training sessions and events, involves certain risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strains, sprains, and the possibility of more serious injuries. I assume all risks associated with participating in these activities.

Release of Liability: You hereby release and discharge Yasuragi™ Pilates & Wellbeing, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death that may occur as a result of your participation in Pilates, Yoga, Soundbath and Exercise sessions, including any negligence on the part of the studio or its staff. This includes any injury that may arise while using the equipment provided or while performing any exercise in any of our training classes or sessions.

  • We appreciate life gets busy, however outside of an emergency we have a strict 6 hour cancellation policy.

If you’re a “no show” or cancel within 6 hours of the class start time, you will be charged for the class as it often means another client is unable to attend. Cancellations must be made via the Momence app. Cancellations or changes revieved during email are not valid.

    • Sessions are not transferrable to another individual and cannot be used by another person. If someone other than the person booked into the class arrives to use the session, they will be asked to create an account and purchase their own sessions.

    • Changes to your schedule via text message, email, voicemails, phone calls, or social media will not be accepted. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance if unsure on how to cancel or reschedule your class prior to class commencement.

    • Early Cancellations: Changes or cancellations processed more than 6 hours before your booking are considered early cancellations and will be reimbursed as studio credit.

    • Late Cancellations: Changes or cancellations processed within 6 hours of your booking are classified as late cancellations and will not be eligible for a credit.

      • If you're on a membership or intro offer, the fee charged will be $10 for a late cancellation or no-show.

      • If you're on a casual or class pass pack, you will forfeit the class credit.

      • If in relation to an event or private session, you will forfeit the credit.

    • There may be a time where a class needs to be cancelled or an instructor needs to be changed for a class you might be already booked in to.

      • We will provide as much notice as possible if a class needs to be cancelled

      • Yasuragi™ Pilates & Wellbeing reserves the right to change or substitute an instructor at any time without providing notice.

*Yasuragi™ Pilates & Wellbeing is a small, family-owned business, and we incur losses when you don't show up for a class you've booked. To ensure fairness to both us and other clients, this is implied as per our studio policies that you accept our no-show fee responsibly. If you booked a class and didn’t show up, please understand the impact it has on us.

    • Injuries and Medical Conditions: If you have any pre-existing injuries or medical conditions, it is your responsibility to obtain clearance from your doctor before participating in any classes. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor of any conditions that may affect your ability to participate safely. • Pregnancy: If you are pregnant, it is your responsibility to obtain clearance from your doctor before participating in any classes. Please inform your instructor of your pregnancy and any related medical considerations prior to class so appropriate modifications can be made to your exercise routine.

  • At Yasuragi™ Pilates & Wellbeing, all people and all bodies are to be not only welcomed, but made to feel as accepted and accommodated as possible.

Many people face barriers to enjoying movement and connecting with their body. Concepts around exercise and wellbeing are often personal and complex. By being mindful of this, without needing to know everyone’s story, you can help us create a supportive studio environment that allows a diversity of people to thrive together.

    • Kindness - Please be kind to yourself and others in the studio. We pride our space to be inclusive, safe and foster growth & healing.

    • Safe & Inclusive space - Our studio has an enjoyment-based approach to movement and exercise. Everybody should feel safe to move in their own way, for their own reasons, on their own terms, without being judged. Please respect the way people self-identify, their personal belief systems and ways of living. Please don’t comment on people’s appearance, body shape, gender expression, skin colour, ethnicity, or similar.

    • Your journey - Everyone is unique and has their own path to follow. Focus on your journey through movement, your progress, and dont compare yourself to others.

    • Respect - Please respect the time and effort the instructors have made to create your class. Each class is creatively designed by the instructor, as is the music selection. This is to create a holistic experience in your movement journey.

    • Zero Tolerance for Bullying
We are committed to a safe and supportive environment for all. Bullying, intimidation, or harassment is not acceptable. Report any incidents to yasuragipilates@gmail.com or speak directly with Jessie.

    • Clean spaces - After each session, please wipe down your mats & equipment. Place equipment neatly back in its place. This keeps our studio a clean and welcoming environment.

    • Caring for our studio - Please treat equipment and property in the studio with respect and care so everyone can enjoy them.

    • Device usage - Please be mindful of using your device in the studio. We request your devices including watches to be placed on silent to limit disruption during class, and to not answer calls or messages in class. If you are expecting a call, please let the instructor know ahead of class. To help maintain our safe environment, please limit “selfies” to just include you and not others if you have not recieved their consent.

    • Consent cards - In the studio there are consent cards which are double sided with “yes” or “No”. As per our studio policy, there may be a requirement to use a hands on approach to help modify your position in an exercise. If you do not want to be touched, please let the instructor know, or flip your card to “No”next to your mat. If you are happy with a hands on touch approach, please flip your card to “yes”.

    • Limit Chatter & Noise
